John Hummelstad – Chairman Beginning his career in the late 1980’s working in sales and marketing, John has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in the corporate development sector, assisting businesses, both nationally and internationally, to recognise their potential and to expand globally. His personal but strategic approach to business is unlike any other and has positioned him as an expert in taking small, start up software company’s and transforming them into global industry leaders. Whilst highly skilled in business development, John is also experienced in the software and IT industry having worked for global corporations including IBM Software Group Asia Pacific, IBM Venture Capital and Microsoft Venture Capital and Serena Software. He continues to be actively involved in bettering Australia’s technology industry as an advisor to the Queensland Government’s IT incubator organisation and by offering ongoing assistance to several of the nation’s leading software companies including the Yeahpoint Corporation. John is an asset to Concept Safety Systems whose invaluable guidance and expertise is fundamental in the continual growth of the organisation. |

Rick Anstey – Non-Executive Director A well regarded entrepreneur and strategic business mind, Rick provides Concept Safety Systems with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Australia’s telecommunications and information technology sectors. Rick’s impressive 30 year career has equipped him with extensive experience in the software development and technology sector through working with leading Australian and international organisations, as well as acquiring and building several of his own businesses. Deeply dedicated to continually building Australia’s technology sector, Rick’s corporate portfolio includes founding banking and finance consultancy Tangent Group Pty Ltd and, most recently, information and communications technology investment company inQbator. He also continues to work closely with the federal, state and local governments across the nation to attract further investment to this industry. A member of several leading organisations including the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Venture Capital Association, Rick is focused on building Concept Safety Systems into an industry leader in emergency fire evacuation training and management. |
Justin Williamson – Non-Executive Director A highly skilled Chief Executive Officer both in Australia’s engineering and manufacturing sectors, Justin brings extensive corporate management experience to Concept Safety Systems. He is an incredibly driven and dedicated man whose tactical and technical approach to business has seen him own, develop and run some of the nation’s most renowned conglomerations. Originally from an engineering background, his twenty year career as owner and CEO of STA Consulting Engineers has positioned Justin as a leading business executive who knows exactly how to develop a successful company into an industry leader. He is committed to improving Australia’s industrial sector by fostering emerging technologies and is constantly expanding his skills by moving into new industries, such as taking on the role of CEO for innovative manufacturing firm Blade Pile Australia. Now also working at Concept Safety Systems to ensure Australian organisations are prepared for every emergency, Justin’s business and engineering expertise is an invaluable asset to the company. |
